The Class of 2009 was composed from 634 applicants, over 200 of whom had
interviews after their applications were reviewed.
This class is 77% female. The average age is approximately 28.
Applications were received from 47 states. Approximately half of this year's
matriculating class lived in Georgia, although some were fairly recent
transplants. They remainder of the class represent thirteen other states, with
California, North Carolina, and Michigan each being the home state for more than
one of the new students. Several students were born outside the U.S., and many
have had international travel or volunteer experiences. Six languages (other
than English) are represented by this class.
Forty-five colleges and Universities are represented by this class, with
approximately 23% of the class having previous Masters degrees.
