City of Refuge - HEALing Community Center
- Grand Opening June 25, 2011
The
PA Class of 2012 participated in the health fair at the grand opening
celebration of the Health Education Assessment and Leadership (HEAL) Community
Center at the City of Refuge. The center will address the increasing
health disparities for minorities and uninsured individuals experiencing poverty
by providing FREE preventive, primary and specialty care for indigent and low
income individuals. Emory PA Students participate in a Wednesday evening clinic.
At the health fair, there was face painting,
blood pressure screening, glucose testing, and health education.
