Emory University since:

 I started with the Emory Clinic in 1992 in Thoracic Surgery with Dr. Joseph Miller.  In 1996, I joined the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the Midtown Clinic (a new satellite healthcare center) located at Crawford Long Hospital.  In 1999, I joined the Physician Assistant Family where I have remained.  I have a total of 18 years of total service with “Emory”.

 Role in the PA Program  

Clinical Year:  

·        Assists with End of Rotation Activities

·        Affiliation agreements

·        Administrator for eValue (a patient tracking system)

Program:

·        Job book: posts new openings on website, contacts offices for updates, receive and process job request faxes and changes.

·        Alumni database: maintains up-to-date alumni information

·        Day-to-day duties assigned by Clinical Coordinators and Associate Program Director 

Personal Profile 

I moved to Atlanta in 1992 from Laurel, Maryland.  I was born and raised in the beautiful town of Culpeper, Virginia, a historic town located approximately 60 miles south of Washington, DC. 

I am married with two adult children and two grandchildren.  I currently hold an Associate of Science degree in Business Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

 I am currently working on my Master of Science in Business Administration.  Expected date of completion is August 2011.

 I enjoy working with our clinical year students as they bring a vast amount of compassion, skill and humility to the table.

My favorite hobbies are FOOTBALL and SHOPPING.
